Cubbon Park, formally known as Sri Chamarajendra Park, is a famous park in Bengaluru's Central Administrative Area. It was established in 1870 by Major General Richard Sankey and originally encompassed 100 acres before being enlarged to 300 acres. It has a rich recorded history of lush flora and fauna plantings, as well as various remarkable and attractively positioned structures and sculptures of important figures inside its confines. The palace also has a splendid Durbar Hall, which was used by the monarch to interact with his subjects and hold important meetings. The museum displays various artifacts and relics that belonged to Tipu Sultan, including his sword, clothing, and personal possessions.
